THE LANGUAGE OF LUXURY
» Putting myself on the firing line...

I looked at the site, clean elegant and simple. I could not click on the photos. Photos are very important, and hiring a pro is a good idea. The picture should speak to what I (your client ) can do on this magnificent development , so that I can picture myself there in the picture. I used to live in Minnesota and understand wild turkey...you can still serve it on a silver platter!

Looks great to me Lynda! I didn't suffer! Pictures opened for me, I like the overall description, the Area Attractions page & links.
Do you have any pictures of Deer or Wild Turkeys on the property? If so add them! Especially if you are going to comment about eating them there. Try adding a Google Earth map? So people can see the area from above and ground level if its available. You may want to change the links for Click here for a current price list., Please click here for current availability., Click here for the most recent site map. "I personally hate being taken to Yahoo to send a request for information" Try to get interested prospects to register with a phone number and an email address, if possible their home address or zip code. It makes it far easier to verify if the prospect information is REAL before replying, although using Yahoo at least gives you that help. Other than that you will have to email me and ask, I do have two more suggestions |

I agree with the others about the site and only suggest two things. One would be more info on why there instead of some other resort second home area. Everyone wants to know Whats In It For Me even with a new home. The second suggestion is to make sure you have a system in place to follow up with prospects and previous customers because the best customer is a referred customer. And a good system will do the work for you once you have generated the customers first action.

Very nice site Lynda! The slideshow is a nice touch, although i had one question: are the 'home site' pictures the view from the site or of the site? I also agree with Martin and Louis, a call to action and some sort of tracking mechanism for lead capture is an essential facet of any successful website.
Other than that, nice site. It is aesthetically pleasing, easy to navigate, and features some fantastic pictures of the area. |

Thank you for sharing your site, Lynda.
I agree with everyone above - Overall the site is clean and the photos are pretty. Make sure you check to see that they will display on a Firefox browser as well as a Internet Explorer I would also suggest that you have the map and current pricing be readily accessible, rather than use an e-mail link. People are more and more hesitant to give out their e-mails. |
